For those of you reading this who aren’t familiar with what we do, at PeopleNotTech, we are building the first platform for the human work and we are betting on distributing the HumanDebt™ to the team level by empowering them to work on their own team dynamics through our playbook. Their choice of action to better their team dynamic is informed by the data in the dashboard that shows them how they are doing on every dimension that we measure to determine Psychological Safety after they have given us enough data about how they have been feeling.
We are often asked for tips and tricks - ideas that would work to quickly insert higher morale or more productivity, by teams that don’t use our software, and for what plays should be done regularly for maximum effect, by the teams already using it.
We make no secret of the fact that no quick fixes exist and that, from now on, the human work needs to be constant and intentional, that is, after all, our greatest obsession and the one thing we know will make a difference to any team’s life and success long term.
That said, we looked at the data of the teams using our software and we found that the teams that do well do tend to come back to a few things regularly, and while they seem to grab what play their own data on the dashboard suggests they need, they regularly return to a few trusted things so we’re listing them here and in tomorrow’s video we’ll speak about them some more.
Using the principles behind Cognitive Behaviour Therapy we have devised plays that work directly on diminishing the number of instances where teammates engage in negative behaviours.
