Incomprehensible as those of us able to use our common sense find it, big tech is making some ridiculously silly moves when it comes to remote/hybrid working declarations. It seems Silicon Valey is getting this one wrong and ignoring how 95% of people offered the option to work permanently remote would take it.
Whether this is just thoughtless HR moves or CFOs unable to square the investment in campuses or office rents, they seem arrogantly unconcerned with how much employee brand they are burning in the process.
